Ok, we like what we see but how many photos do you take?
I shoot a lot during a wedding. We then carefully edit the shots down to the best 250-400 photos, which I can supply on a USB. It depends on each wedding and the coverage you choose – your service is bespoke.
How long are you there for?
Every wedding is different, i stay as long as you need me and as agreed in our meeting. Some weddings are longer then others.
Do you offer albums?
I do! We stock a selection of the best albums on the market, they are top quality, stunning items and very reasonable priced.
Do you have Insurance?
Yes I have Public liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance. I also hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.( the new CRB)
Who gets Copyright of the images?
I retain copyright for use of the images (as do all photographers ,actually) but you will receive a bespoke USB of the images (if purchased) in high resolution format, ready to print as big as you want and as many times as you like!
Do you do Engagement shoots?
Yes I do, and there are two reasons for this.
Firstly, it helps me get to know you better, so you feel like a friend is coming to shoot your big day instead of a stranger (well that's what my clients have said) and secondly, you’ll have an idea of the type of shots that you like, and have some “posing” practise.
When will we receive our pictures?
You will typically see your finished images in 3/4 weeks in an online gallery, where a password will be issued. A lot of post-production work goes on behind the scenes to ensure your photos are selected and finished to the highest standards.
When will we receive our albums?
Normally around two months after the wedding.
The albums are hand finished in Italy, which means the process isn't quick, but they are always worth the wait. We have lots of compliments on the quality of our albums.
How many group shots do you take?
Usually about 10 to 12 works well. These take about 20 to 30 minutes.
Do you travel?
Yes all over the UK and abroad.
If the event is further than 50 miles, I will charge 50p a mile extra. If there is extensive travelling (more than 2 hours) overnight accommodation will be required due to the early start and late finish. For international weddings, flights, accommodation, taxis, visas and subsistence need to be covered.
Will you need a meal on the wedding day?
Yes, i ask for meal and soft drinks, It's always appreciated. You do not need to provide the same meal as the guests and it helps if I can have one of the first meals brought out. That way, I am ready to shoot before people finish eating.
Ok, how do we book you?
I simply require a booking fee of £250.00 to secure your date. I am continually booked for work, 1 to 2 years in advance or sometimes longer so please don't be offended if your date is free one day and gone the next.
